Legal & General Retirement America Completes Annual Philanthropic Campaign for the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford

LGRA employees raise donations for the Boys & Girls Club and its members ahead of the holiday season

STAMFORD, CT / December 14, 2021

Legal & General Retirement America (LGRA) today announced the end of its annual philanthropic campaign supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford (BGCS). This two-week event, organized by LGRA employees, raised nearly $3,000 through virtual and in-person events, games, and silent auctions in an effort to gather donations to support BGCS ahead of the holiday season.

LGRA’s campaign kicked off on October 25 and ran through November 5, 2021. This event is part of the larger Legal & General America (LGA) annual charity drive. LGA matches all funds raised and donated by employees during the campaign.

“Every year, I look forward to these two-weeks, and gathering with the LGRA team to support BGCS and the important work they do in our community,” said George Palms, president of Legal & General Retirement America. “LGRA is proud to continue to work with BGCS and be a part of the national effort at LGA to give back to the communities we live and work in.”

Boys & Girls Club of Stamford seeks to fill the gap between home and schools. They currently serve 400+ K-12 students daily, offering programs and services to promote and enhance their development.
